Can I get some love from my Project Runway fans out there? Holla!

Whoa… sorry! I got all hip-hop for a second. Project Runway just brings it out in me.

And you know why? Because the show is so awesome, that’s why. But here’s the thing: After the sweet, sweet agony of waiting for Season 4, which premiered over a year after the end of season 3, Bravo is dropping season 5 on us like it’s a big bag of Hurry The Hell Up. It premieres the day after tomorrow, just a few months after Chrstian Siriano was made king of our hearts.

I know there’s all sorts of controversy surrounding the show, what with its impending move to Lifetime, and I guess that’s partly why this season is coming up so quickly. But are you worried the quality will suffer? Have they really had time to put together something awesome?

Not that these concerns will keep me from watching the show, of course, but I fear my beloved will get lost in the corprorate shuffle. Heidi and Tim may be swearing that won’t happen, but… what else are they going to do?

I also see that on Bravo’s website, they’re listing all the challenges for every episode. Already! As you may know, I hate spoilers, so I won’t be looking. I just hope I can avoid hearing about what’s coming up.

But the mere presence of the spoiler suggests Bravo’s left hand isn’t talking to its right. Just a few days ago, the network’s reps were talking about “protecting the secrecy” of the show. So which is it?

Could it be that no one knows what’s going on? Is Bravo trying to sabotage the series, so that everyone hates it before Lifetime gets it? Am I being paranoid? Wait… what? Who said that? Is someone planting chips in my arm?
