I don’t blame you guys for being confused. Pink tried to explain the song in an interview with Billy Bush by saying that she didn’t intend to write it, but that it was just something funny that happened. She played it to Carey and he thought it was funny too, so she went with it.

I think her slagging him off is part of Pink playing up to the press’s idea of how she should be feeling at the moment. She’s expected to be angry at her ex, so she’s pretending she is when the video and real life show that the pair really do like each other.

It’s just Pink generally taking the piss out of the public’s expected reaction from her over her divorce.

Good point, Erica! I hadn’t seen the video when I wrote this post, and now I’m all confused.

So maybe they made up? Or she’s just putting on for the purposes of the song? But they definitely got divorced, so… who knows?

I don’t get it. She sings about her divorce, and quite clearly offends Carey Hart throghout the song, yet he still makes several cameo appearances throughout the video. WTF? If the break up wasn’t that bad…then why the song? Somebody please explain…
