It’s Friday, and that means it’s time for the Friday music quiz! You know, where a reader shuffles his/her iPod, then lists the first lines from the first 30 songs that come up. It’s up to us to provide the artist and title of each song. Kick ass!
Basic rules: Post your answers in the comments section, don’t use the internet to look up lyrics, and please don’t supply more than three answers per day.

Right so far!
@Maggie: Mine too. The movie came out when I was 16 and my friends and I were beyond excited. Whenever I saw Harold Perrineau on Lost, I thought of him in a sequined mini singing that song.

You guys, I LOVED the “Romeo + Juliet” movie. I was a senior in high school when it came out, and I thought it was just the most artistic and clever thing I’d ever seen.
And don’t get me started on the soundtrack. “Young Hearts Run Free?” “Lovefool?” “Local God?” “Kissing You?” All of them classics.
17 Trey // Mar 20, 2009 at 5:56 pm
19. Kanye West “Flashing Lights”
I can’t believe that hasn’t been picked yet! I guess that song really wasn’t a hit.

FYI, #10. the name of the Melissa Etheridge song is actually Enough of Me, not Ain’t That Enough.
