I don’t know where this video comes from, but it’s bringing me closer to Zen. Or a mental collapse. Either way, I can’t look away.
Here’s my advice: Even after you’ve gotten the joke—Look! People in giant My Little Pony costumes are performing popular Broadway songs!—keep watching. It gets more and more surreal the further you go.
I don’t want to tell you more. You need to experience this thing for yourself. But if you’re in a hurry, just watch from 5:20—5:58. The passionate literalism of the choreography is breathtaking.

WHAT?? And WHY? And…WHAT?
p.s. My sister had that EXACT My Little Pony.

This isn’t part of the regular show…which means it has to be just the actors hamming it up during rehearsal or something, and I think that makes it awesome.

PLEASE tell me that there is something from Sweeny Todd in the works!

Hey Gryph… That was the theory around my office, that it was just people goofing around after hours. Which totally DOES make it awesome.
So… what’s the actual show like? And, if I may ask, how did you end up seeing it?

I havent’ seent he show live… only on video…because I am the aunt of two small nieces. I’d love to take them to see it though! I took them to their first show (Finding Nemo on Ice) this year and it was so much fun.
