<p>The clip takes you behind the scenes of <em>Passion Play,</em> an epic new piece by Pulitzer-nominated playwright Sarah Ruhl that Epic Theatre Ensemble is staging in a renovated Brooklyn church.</p>
<p>I created this video because I wanted to explore how important a physical space can be to the production of a play. I&#8217;d love to get your thoughts and responses!</p>

<p>Who wants some hot links?!?!!</p>
<p>First, you need to see this video that we created over at <strong><a href="stages.tdf.org" target="_blank">TDF STAGES.</a></strong> It features some of the world&#8217;s worst audience etiquette. Have <em>you</em> ever behaved like<em> </em>this guy?</p>
<p><object style="height: 300px; width: 440px;" classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" width="100" height="100" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always" /><param name="src" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/sxyRbad9p0k" /><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /><embed style="height: 300px; width: 440px;" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="100" height="100" src="http://www.youtube.com/v/sxyRbad9p0k" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object></p>
<p>Next, did you hear that S. Epatha Merkerson<a href="http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/hr/content_display/news/e3i98b4e0f133d6f1d2f4bb17ea35b35c5b" target="_blank"> is leaving <em>Law &amp; Order</em>?</a> Sigh. I knew she couldn&#8217;t dazzle and delight us as Lt. Anita Van Buren forever, but I will still be sorry to see her leave the show. Note to the writers: Do <em>not</em> let Van Buren succumb to the cancer she&#8217;s been battling all season. I&#8217;m sure you&#8217;ve already written the season-ending episode, but if you put in a death scene, go back and take it out. Thank you.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, <strong>Film Experience </strong>continues to play <a href="http://filmexperience.blogspot.com/search/label/first%20and%20last" target="_blank">the First and Last game,</a> where you see the first and last images from a film and guess the title. Super fun!</p>
<p>And finally, <strong>Levity is the Soul of Wit</strong> <a href="http://levityisthesoulofwit.blogspot.com/2010/04/sweet-fanny-madam-or-butt-show-was.html" target="_blank">puts the word &#8220;fanny&#8221; to excellent use</a>.</p>
